The hotel is located in Irún (Northern Spain), at the mouth of the Bidasoa River, the natural border with France.
In a few minutes, we can reach the walled city of Hondarribia, and the tourist cities of San Sebastián (20 minutes), San Juan de Luz and Biarritz (30 minutes).
Hotel Atalaia ha apostado por la mejora de la eficiencia energética y utilizar energías renovables en su actividad diaria. Durante el año 2023 ha invertido en la instalación de una planta fotovoltaica de 30kWn, formada por 65 paneles de 500Wp de tecnología monocristalina. Dicha inversión ha contado con el apoyo de los Fondos Next Generation promovidos por la Unión Europea, así como el Ente Vasco de Energía (EVE), el Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica y el Reto Demográfico, y el Instituto para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía (IDEA).
